More than 300 adolescents and young people between 10 to 18 years of age participated in this activity, who will compete in the disciplines of baseball and women’s softball.

This gaming season will be dedicated to the young Junior J. Espinoza Feliz, deceased, who served as a scorer for the first 4 years and then as a coach. Together with family and friends, he received a posthumous recognition at the hands of his father, coach José Gómez.

The inauguration was attended by MLB authorities: Mr. David James, vice president of baseball and softball Development, the MLB Senior Manager of game development worldwide Joel Araujo, Karla Rojas Operations Manager of the Fundación Central Barahona, José Antonio García Administrative Manager of CAC, among other authorities.

Within the words expressed by MLB Senior Manager Joel Araujo, he highlighted the commitment that parents have in accompanying these young people throughout their sports preparation process, without leaving aside their school and university studies, since not only can they become great at the sport, but also in their professional life.

In a special way, a Play Ball was held for 300 children who do not belong to the RBI program, between 3 and 10 years old, where they were offered an afternoon with dynamic games related to baseball.
