CAC joins efforts to stop COVID-19 advance

The Consorcio Azucarero Central joins the efforts of different sectors of society to stop the advance of COVID-19 in the country, through various initiatives that contribute to the well-being of their communities.

The company disseminates through a radio spot, hygiene, and prevention guidelines in support of the measures of the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization.

Similarly, understanding that many are unemployed at this time, yesterday the delivery of $ 100,000.00 pesos was made in bonds for the acquisition of food for families with precarious situations, located in the Las Salinas and Los Blocks, in coordination with some Neighborhood Councils and with the support of youth and community leaders.

“This is the moment that our country and the world face the challenge of an unprecedented pandemic and where the great CAC family has wanted to unite in support, aware of the needs we face”, said Esteban Marine, Community Relations coordinator, who was accompanied by Gregory Méndez, External Communications Assistant in the operation.

The Consorcio Azucarero Central reaffirmed its commitment to continue working for the well-being of the communities where it operates, calling for maintaining an attitude of responsibility and compliance with established health standards as the ideal way to reduce the risks of contagion from the Coronavirus.
