Our commitment

The Consorcio Azucarero Central (CAC) is a company committed to the sustainable, technological and environmental development of the southern region of the Dominican Republic, specifically the provinces of Barahona, Bahoruco and Independencia, through programs that promote an improvement in conditions of the inhabitants of the area.

It works jointly with non-profit organizations, government and municipal entities, community, and religious associations to improve the quality of life and promote the development of the communities and bateyes (small villages) near the company’s area of ​​influence.
